  • "Night at Museum"

  • The cultural and educational project "Night at museum" was organized at Georgian National Museum-National Gallery in 16th January, 2012.
    One hundred school directors were given the possibility to visit the exposition of the gallery with accompanying of cognitive and theatrical events.
    The presentation of the program started in the gallery's yard. The various animated characters by actors from famous works of gallery's exposition were hosts of the guests accompanied by musical compositions. The projection of those characters was at gallery's walls.
    The guest had very interesting show in the exhibition halls, where were animated famous art works - N. Pirosmani: "The girl with ball", "Fisherman", "Aktrisa Margarita"; G. Gabashvili: "Man from Samarkand"; I. Shtenberg: "Menu"; D. Kakabadze: "Self-portrait"; L. Gudiashvili: "Kintos"; K. Magalashvili: "Portrait of Elene Akhvlediani"; D. Shevardnadze: "Self-portrait"; Sh. Kikodze: "At cafe", "Women from Guria", "Adjara"; M. Bilanishvili: "Women's portrait"; U. Japaridze: "Mother's thinkings"; I. Toidze: "Portrait of A. Toidze". After the exposition visit there was organized quiz for directors and winners were awarded with souvenirs and publications from GNM.
    The exhibition's characters were performed by actors from Literature theatre and by students from Sh. Rustaveli State University of Theater and Cinema. The event's musical compositions were performed by students from Tbilisi State Conservatoire and pupils from E. Mikeladze Talented ten-year school.
