  • David Kakabadze Retrospective

  • Georgian National Museum Dimitri Shevardnadze National Gallery opened David Kakabadze's  retrospective exhibition on May 18, 2013.
    The exhibited artworks represent David Kakabadze not only as the artist, but also as a contemporary thinker, the photographer, art critic, scientist and one of the first inventors of a stereoscopic movie.
    It is very important to notice, that this is the most extensive exhibition as it had ever been held. The visitor can see more than 100 picturesque works, abstractions and photos, stored in the funds of the Georgian National museum, private collections and in the museum of Kote Marjanishvili State Academic Theater.
    At the same time the cycle of educational lectures are delivering by Georgian and foreign experts.
    The exhibition lasts till July 10, 2013.
